The Natural Stone Institute is a trade association representing every aspect of the natural stone industry. The current membership exceeds 2,000 members in over 50 countries. The association offers a wide array of technical and training resources, professional development opportunities, regulatory advocacy, and networking events. Two prominent publicationsùthe Dimension Stone Design Manual and Building Stone Magazineùraise awareness within the natural stone industry and in the design community for best practices and uses of natural stone.

New Russia Township is a 24 square mile rural area surrounding the City of Oberlin and is home to some 2,500 residents.  The township is governed by a three-member elected Board of Trustees, with an elected fiscal officer also serving the community.  The Lodge of New Russia Township is an 11,510 square foot banquet facility available wholly or in part for rental needs. The township features many scenic public green spaces and recreational areas, including several picnic shelters available for rental.

The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra (NOYO) exists to provide a progressive orchestra program with challenging educational musical opportunities in orchestral and small ensemble training and performing for young instrumentalists under the guidance of professional musicians, using the resources of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

Now in its 48th season, the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra has been providing the finest orchestral training to the youth of Northern Ohio since 1969. NOYO is a regional orchestral training program that attracts gifted young musicians ages 8-22, from Toledo to Cleveland. Its ensembles perform three concerts at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.  The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestras is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization

The Cable Co-op is a major provider of internet access and cable TV to the town of Oberlin. We are Ohio's only community-owned, non-profit telecommunications company offering standard cable, digital and HD services, and high-speed internet. We are governed by a Board of Trustees elected by Oberlin Cable Co-op subscribers and staffed by local technicians. We are able to meet the telecommunication needs of all Oberlin residents and businesses at costs 25-35% less than surrounding communities.

In collaboration with our community, Oberlin City Schools educates students to excel academically while providing support for their social and emotional needs in an open and inclusive environment.  Oberlin's Board has articulated the priorities of a multicultural and highly rigorous curriculum.  Oberlin City Schools is the only public school district in Ohio authorized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World District, offering IB at all levels, and requiring it of all students in grades pre-k-10. Founded in 1955, Oberlin Community Services (OCS) is a responsive community organization that provides direct assistance, referrals, and other services to Oberlin and southern Lorain County residents who struggle to meet basic needs. By the measure of clients served, we are the largest ôsafety-netö agency in our service area. We are dedicated to our clients and strive to ensure their dignity and long-term well-being. Our choice food pantry, which is open 5 days/week, offers fresh produce, meat and specialty breads as well as non-perishable staple foods. Other programs include The People's Garden, client counseling and financial assistance, women's empowerment workshops, community building events, and volunteer and community service opportunities

The Oberlin Heritage Center is an accredited complex of historic sites, a historical society and a historic preservation organization that offers educational programs, tours, kids' activities, workshops and more.  Guided tours are scheduled every Thursday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Self-guided tours are available Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (last entry at 2:30 p.m.)  Or, enjoy a themed History Walk through downtown neighborhoods in warmer months.  Group tours are available year-round with reservations.

The Oberlin Public Library is committed to our mission of informing, educating, inspiring, and entertaining. We strive to create an environment where civic engagement, learning, and literacy thrive.

The Bridge is the Technology Division of the Oberlin Public Library, located across the street from the OPL at 82 South Main Street. Striving to meet the computer needs of all members of the Oberlin community, the Bridge is open for drop-in computing six days a week and offers a rotating schedule of educational classes.
