The Cable Co-op is a major provider of internet access and cable TV to the town of Oberlin. We are Ohio's only community-owned, non-profit telecommunications company offering standard cable, digital and HD services, and high-speed internet. We are governed by a Board of Trustees elected by Oberlin Cable Co-op subscribers and staffed by local technicians. We are able to meet the telecommunication needs of all Oberlin residents and businesses at costs 25-35% less than surrounding communities.

Providing Oberlin With Efficiency Responsibly (POWER), founded in 2008, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) grassroots environmental justice organization whose mission is to increase the energy efficiency of homes, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and churches in Oberlin, Ohio and the surrounding area. POWER has helped over 400 homeowners weatherize and repair their homes to make them comfortable, affordable, and healthy. POWER seeks to: Make low-income individuals more financially secure in the face of rising utility costs Improve the quality of life for Oberlin residents by creating a more comfortable home Reduce the amount of pollution and CO2 emitted by Oberlin housing and businesses With POWER's Home Efficiency Grants, every Oberlin resident, regardless of income, is eligible for help to pay for home weatherization. Location Directions Go east on 511 at Rt 58 about 9/10 of a mile. We are on the north side of the street located inside the Cooper Community Resource Center.
