The Allen Memorial Art Museum has offered free admission since its founding in 1917. In addition to installations of its collection of more than 15,000 works of art, the Allen presents changing exhibitions on specific artists or ideas. The Weltzheimer/Johnson House at Oberlin College is a Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian House situated several blocks from campus.  Check the Art Museum's website for tour and ticket information.

Common Ground is home to summer day camps for youth, adult team-building programs, and custom-designed seminars. We have a top-rated zipline canopy tour open to the public, the proceeds from which are reinvested in our youth programs.

Founded in 1979, The Firelands Association for the Visual Arts is an independent, non-profit art organization in Oberlin, Ohio dedicated to enhancing public appreciation of and participation in the visual arts through exhibitions and related educational and community activities. FAVA presents changing exhibitions of high quality artwork in a variety of styles and media and classes for people of all ages and skill levels.

The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra (NOYO) exists to provide a progressive orchestra program with challenging educational musical opportunities in orchestral and small ensemble training and performing for young instrumentalists under the guidance of professional musicians, using the resources of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.

Now in its 48th season, the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra has been providing the finest orchestral training to the youth of Northern Ohio since 1969. NOYO is a regional orchestral training program that attracts gifted young musicians ages 8-22, from Toledo to Cleveland. Its ensembles perform three concerts at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music.  The Northern Ohio Youth Orchestras is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization

Founded in 1955, Oberlin Community Services (OCS) is a responsive community organization that provides direct assistance, referrals, and other services to Oberlin and southern Lorain County residents who struggle to meet basic needs. By the measure of clients served, we are the largest ôsafety-netö agency in our service area. We are dedicated to our clients and strive to ensure their dignity and long-term well-being. Our choice food pantry, which is open 5 days/week, offers fresh produce, meat and specialty breads as well as non-perishable staple foods. The Woodshed is an Oberlin, Ohio based music company offering a variety of musical services including music/instrument lessons, sales & service, accessories, lives shows and recording services.  

All lessons are 30- or 50-minutes and open for all ages. Call us to schedule a lesson or just drop on by!

The Woodshed also offers a wide array of guitars for any skill level, from the total beginner to the gigging professional.  Not only do we have a vast inventory of guitars and accessories, we also carry drum accessories, banjos, ukulele, mandolins, harmonicas, and Latin percussion instruments.
