The Oberlin Heritage Center is an accredited complex of historic sites, a historical society and a historic preservation organization that offers educational programs, tours, kids' activities, workshops and more.  Guided tours are scheduled every Thursday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Self-guided tours are available Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (last entry at 2:30 p.m.)  Or, enjoy a themed History Walk through downtown neighborhoods in warmer months.  Group tours are available year-round with reservations.

The Oberlin Public Library is committed to our mission of informing, educating, inspiring, and entertaining. We strive to create an environment where civic engagement, learning, and literacy thrive.

The Bridge is the Technology Division of the Oberlin Public Library, located across the street from the OPL at 82 South Main Street. Striving to meet the computer needs of all members of the Oberlin community, the Bridge is open for drop-in computing six days a week and offers a rotating schedule of educational classes.

Providing Oberlin With Efficiency Responsibly (POWER), founded in 2008, is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) grassroots environmental justice organization whose mission is to increase the energy efficiency of homes, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and churches in Oberlin, Ohio and the surrounding area. POWER has helped over 400 homeowners weatherize and repair their homes to make them comfortable, affordable, and healthy. POWER seeks to: Make low-income individuals more financially secure in the face of rising utility costs Improve the quality of life for Oberlin residents by creating a more comfortable home Reduce the amount of pollution and CO2 emitted by Oberlin housing and businesses With POWER's Home Efficiency Grants, every Oberlin resident, regardless of income, is eligible for help to pay for home weatherization. The Rosen-Jones Photography Studio opened in 2009 and is located at 29 1/2 W. College Street in downtown Oberlin, upstairs from For Ewe and across the street from Tappan Square. There is ample free parking on the street and behind the building. Tanya Rosen-Jones specializes in fun and creative headshots, seniors and branding work. She has worked with many individuals and nonprofits to improve their online presence.
