Lorain County Health & Dentistry is an independent, non-profit, charitable 501c(3) organization in operation since 2002. A Community Health Center, we provide primary and preventive medical, dental, vision, and behavioral healthcare to all persons regardless of ability to pay.

To address unmet need and improve the communityÆs health, Lorain County Health & Dentistry has expanded and now operates 7 sites in Lorain, Elyria and Oberlin. Over the years, we have provided more than 878,000 doctor and dentist visits to the most vulnerable in our community. Lorain County Health & Dentistry has a proud history and an exciting future and is ready to meet local need for many years to come.

Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:30 AM
2nd & 4th Tuesdays: 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Mercy Health Allen Hospital has been the health care provider for the Oberlin community and beyond since its beginning in 1907. Today Mercy Health Allen Hospital continues that care by providing top quality medical care in a personalized, friendly environment. MHAH provides a wide array of health care services for central and southern Lorain County residents including inpatient, rehab therapy, emergency care, and surgical services. MHAH is an Acute Care Hospital with Critical Access Hospital designation.
